Hooters and Bowling

On Thursday, I got a letter in the mail

from AISD.  Cody was tested for

the gifted and talented program at school

and he passed all the tests!  I told him he 

could pick a place to eat and something to

go and do to celebrate. Of course he picked

Hooters to eat!

We also went bowling.  The boys 

LOVE to go bowling.

River Saturday

We spent another Saturday at the 

river yesterday.  The weather was so nice!

The boys enjoyed getting outside and running

around.  This was Kade's first time to the river.

I think he had fun!

AJ and KC took the boys down the river 

in the truck.  They thought that was super awesome!

The boys said since it was burning hot 

outside, they needed to cool off in the river.

So KC let them take their shoes off to dip

their feet in.  That didn't last long at all.

Happy Cherne Valentine's Day!

Since KC and Kade were both

not here for Valentine's Day, we

celebrated today.

The boys got Heelys from Nana

& Grandpa.  We got them each 

somethings they have been asking for. 

We did a shrimp, crab leg, corn, sausage,

and potato boil.  Kade loves shrimp and

crab legs.  It's fun to throw it all out there

and let everyone help themselves. Oh yeah, 

and super yummy!!!

 

We had Banana Splits for dessert. 

Cody said he was extra good today,

so he was going to have a Sunday

and a Monday.  So here he is with 

both of his desserts.

Bike Tricks!

I came home today from having lunch

with Chelsey and the boys told me they

had something to show me.  When

I went outside these are the things

I saw...

And yes....

They really are going pretty fast.

Fast enough to make their momma

freak out a little bit.

I went in to check on dinner and this

handsome boy was looking out the front

door at everyone.  He really

wanted to go outside with everyone!

KaDo Is HeRe!!!

Kade got to come in 2 days early

this time.  The boys were super excited! 

It is always complete madness for the whole 

first day he is here.  Everyone is always so

excited to see each other.

We took Kade to eat at Frazzleberry.

He is a junk food lover!!!  I knew he

would like it.  He loved it!!!

There really is yogurt under there somewhere.

Our Star Student!

I got a phone call from Cody's assistant

principal today.  She said that Cody got

a positive office referral today.  His teacher

told her that he was very polite, a great friend, 

and a very hard worker.  I was SO PROUD!!!

I took him to get some frozen yogurt

at Frazzleberry.  He was so excited!

Tooth #5

Rylee lost his 5th tooth on

Tuesday.  He didn't even know

it was loose.

The Tooth Fairy left him 5 bucks!

Sledding Sledding Sledding

Since KC missed the 6.5 inches of 

snow we received, he couldn't wait

to get home to see if there was anything

left to sled on.  We took the boys sledding

on Saturday morning.  TC and Brittney came too.

Then on Sunday we went to the river. 

The boys talked their daddy into taking the

sleds.  They rode those sleds everywhere!
