Spring Break

 

Spring Break this year was a bit

different.  We did absolutely nothing!

And it was great!  KC has been working

sooooo much and wouldn't be able to

come home, so we went to spend time with

him in the camper. 

 

 

 

We did take a couple of days and went

and spent time with Tab and Lando.

 

 

 

Eunice, NM has NOTHING for us to do.

The boys always get creative though.

 

It was so nice to relax

and not go go go for once.

River Date

 

KC actually got a Friday off.

I know ~ It's a miracle.

AND to top it off...

The boys were in school.

It was actually my idea to spend our day

at the river.  We really hadn't taken the

new RZR out, and I kinda wanted to try it out.

 

 

 

I do love it!

BUT ~ I really do like our

sketchy 4 wheeler riding more.

Don't tell KC.  He might be crushed.

Some River Fun

 

 

Took some time today

to head to the river.

We needed a break and the boys

were dying to ride in the rzr.

 

The pups love running

and sniffing and exploring

and chasing and swimming

and following and fetching

and anything else

they can think to do there.

 

 

The boys even got

to do a little driving.

 

 

 

 

 

and some shenanigans

with their dad.

Date Day

 KC and I each took a boy and spent

the day with them.  It's one of their most

favorite things to do.  We don't do it

near often enough.

How lucky I am!

Cody picked fajitas at our favorite spot

Lights Off Golf and a

smoothie from Bahama Bucks

to top it off.  It was a great day!

 

 

 

 

Rylee and KC enjoyed lunch and

tea at Sakura.  It is Rylee's MOST

favorite thing.  They ended their day

playing Lights Off Golf.

KC and I booked probably our last BIG

couples vacation.  We have been

realizing how fast the boys are growing,

and we really don't have that many more

summer family vacations to spend with them.

It's time to go big or stay home.

Arrow of Light

My little Cub Scout received his arrow

of light award at this years Blue & Gold Banquet.

That means he completed everything he needed

to move on to be a Boy Scout.

 

 

We are SO very proud of him!

 

Happy Valentine's Day

 

This handsome boy wanted to sneak out

of the house and go buy his daddy

a Valentine's day gift.

 

And to do that -

you have to have a fancy coffee.

Or so I'm told.

 

 

Cody was so excited to make his minion

Valentine's Day box.  He won best box in

all of 3rd grade.

 

 

Cody has a little girlfriend up at Pak-A-Sak.

He felt bad that she had to work on Valentine's

Day night, so he wanted to take her a chocolate rose.

That is my baby.
