Lights and Gingerbread

Christmas Lights!!

All the boys worked really hard
to get them all up just how I wanted.

I threw out all the tennis balls and
we took a little break and played
war ball.

And yes, it's a handful of days into
December and they are all wearing
shorts!  The weather has been so
great!  Today was no exception.

Final touches on my Grinch!

and you can't have Christmas lights
with out a cute little weenie dog
in a Santa suit!

I love my Grinch!
I already have a few ideas about
what I want to add to the yard next year.
DON'T Tell KC!

I asked the boys what all they
for sure wanted to do for the holidays
and making gingerbread houses
with Brent and Kristin was first on
their lists!

This is the 3rd year running for this
and you would think we would
have a system down by now.

But we don't and it's all the more fun.

Rylee and Kristin ALWAYS
up to lots of shenanigans!

Christmas is Coming!

Look who's back!!

Working on new Christmas yard
decorations.  I am so excited to get
this guy finished!

The butterfly has been BUSY!!
Lots and Lots of stuff shipping
and being picked up every day.

I am not a fan of shipping things at
Christmas time.  It must be done.

This is what our living room
looks like after cramming 4 nights
straight of non stop sign making!

I shampooed the carpets and the weather was
so nice that I locked the dogs outside.
They thought it was torture of course.
I got lots of evil eyes.

We volunteered at Evelyn Rivers
wrapping up lots of goodies for
children in need around our area.

Rylee and Cody grabbed this Bambi paper
off of another persons table because
it was vintage and Disney and they
knew I would love it!
Ha Ha!  They are keepers!

Lots of gifts to stack and sort!

Nights of Lights Parade

Nights of Lights parade is
one of our favorite Christmas
traditions!  So many great floats
with lots and lots of pretty lights.

This year was very Cold!

We had a great time though.

Catch Up

We have had a ton of Boy Scout
stuff going on lately.

ALL of our popcorn came in.
The boys sold almost $1500 worth!
That makes for a lot of popcorn
to deliver.  Rylee even sold the
second most popcorn out of
his whole troop.  Very proud of him.

Sorting it all out is always the
hardest part.

The boys have several merit badges
that they are working on right now.
Lots of researching and lots of
paper work always come with them.

We took a little break to put their candy
on their advent Christmas trees.
We are so ready for Christmas around here.

I am still trying to work on the boys
quilts.  My MawMaw had to help me
with some of the last few steps.
I'm getting closer.

She likes to help by laying on
all of my fabric.

and back to boy scouts!
Monthly weekend campout
at Camp Don.

Cody and Kade both earned
toten chip by taking a knife and
ax safety course.

The next weekend they went
to an Environmental Science
merit badge class.

Learned all kinds of stuff
and marked off that Eagle
required merit badge.
