Red River

We took the fam to Red River for

our family vacation this year.

You can't walk through town and not

visit the Candy Crate for fudge.

I was shocked that Rylee wanted to play

Frisbee Golf.  This is the same shot he broke

his arm on last time.

And we played lots and lots of pool

while we were there.

We had very chilly and rainy weather for June.

I loved it!

And then it cleared up and we were

able to take the kayaks out on the lake.

We did our favorite and had some drinks

around the fire pit.

Freedom graduated this year!

We've added star gazing to our

fire pit nights.  KC found an app that

tracks the constellations.

I really like trying to find them and

then checking to see if we're right.

KC has been working on the electric

for the shop.  He's doing all the electricity

stuff himself.

Lazy bums!

The Butterfly has been very busy!

I even recruited Cody to help me out some.

Cody got fitted for his prom tux.

And Rylee has been planning

out his college classes.

Rylee and I helped Cody with his

promposal because he had to work.

She said yes.

And someone has been hitting the gym.

We've been cleaning out a bunch of

spaces in Maw-Maw's house.

I found this note that Paw-Paw had

written her one day.

I teared up.

Granny has been teaching me how to crochet.

I think I am very crafty.  However! it does

not seem to include crochet.

She is very patient with me though.

Dallas Trip with Ry and Aiden

We took Rylee and Aiden to Dallas

for their birthdays this year.

Just a long weekend trip.

They had several things on their

to-do lists.

One of Rylee's was ice skating.

And this is how I felt about it.

Normally I can talk my way out of doing this

kind of stuff.  Not this time.  Rylee was not having it.

One of Aidens things was 

seeing Dealy Plaza where JFK was shot.

Rylee also wanted to go to the zoo.

Which I loved because it reminded me of

him being little when we took him and Cody.

We also met up with Kade to see

him and the baby.

Who isn't really a baby any more.

Rylee was super uncomfortable holding him.

Ha Ha!  He's never held a baby before.
