Round Two

So Monday afternoon I packed
back up and headed to Midland.
Tab and Jason were going to
head back to Arizona for more tests.
I stayed behind to keep the kiddos.

Kisses for Mommy!

We sent Mommy lots of
pictures!

Cody lost his tooth while
I was gone.

And KC sent me selfies
so I wouldn't forget what he
looked like.

It's hard work taking care of
a one year old and four year old
ALL DAY LONG
when you aren't used to doing
it any more!

When 7:00pm hit...
kids were in bed
and it was quiet time!

Landree wanted to take
pictures for mommy too.

My handsome honey!
I sure miss him!
Sure A LOT A LOT A LOT!

Bubs went to a play date!
Me and this sweet girl got to
get out and do some Christmas
shopping.  Does this sweet face
not make your heart melt!?!

She liked to snack while
she shopped.

And act silly.

Good Morning!

I got a text from my pups too!
I sure miss them.

Aunt Shell took the kiddos
for a few hours today.
I really didn't know what
to do.  So I went to Barnes and Noble.
I could spend hours in there
looking at all the books.
And I did.  More Christmas
shopping checked off my list.
I am so glad my boys love books
as much as I do.

Little Miss wouldn't take
her medicine for me.
Good thing big brother
was there to help!

My Birthday!

It's my birthday!
My snookem has to work :(
but I get to spend my day with
my boys.  We started out by
having coffee and watching
Rudolph.  Two of some of my
favorite things!

Then we played some
wizardology.
Another of our favorites.

And then we decided to cut
all my hydrangeas because it's
supposed to freeze this week.
They were still so gorgeous
and smelled so pretty!

We took a sushi break
for lunch.  My Snookem
wasn't here, but that didn't
stop me.

When I got out of the shower
the boys had a wine glass
full of Lemonade with purple
food coloring in it.  It was surrounded
by flower petals and they had
some candles lit.
The note said
"Happy Birthday!
You're our rising start."

Isn't that sweet!?!
I guess they get their
sweetness from their dad too.

We also did some baking.
Homemade banana bread!

And a Strawberry Cake!
Another favorite!

My Birthday Tradition!
Putting up our Christmas Tree!
Isn't it pretty!

I wish my Snookem would
have been home all day,
but it really was a great day!!!

Finally back to normal?

It is sooo nice to be back home!

Rylee has been learning some
chemistry stuff in school.
So it's been potions and
experiments all the time.

Science is his thing.
Math and Science.
He's a wiz!
Must have gotten that
from his daddy.

Game Night with some hot tea.

I came across this vintage recipe
box for my collection.
The bonus was it was full of
vintage recipes.
Lots of pies and casseroles!

It's cold today and Penny
thinks we should be in bed!
Not working!

I opened up some of the
Jalapenos I canned a couple
of months ago.
They are soooo good.
I LOVE THEM!
Hot - but oh so good!

I made stew and we bought
Maleficent to snuggle up
on the cold night.

One out of the mazillion
things Tab and I talked
about on our Arizona trip
was special things we
could do for our hubbies.

Since KC always sends me
selfies, Tab challenged
me to send KC a selfie
everyday this week.
It wasn't easy!
I missed Friday,
but I thought I did pretty good.

We also snuck away
for a little date lunch.

AND...
We caught the 75%
off sale at the Halloween store!
The boys love these suits!
