Christmas Eve

It's Christmas Eve!

I love it almost as much as

Christmas!!

We baked our Christmas

cookie goodies!

 

 

 

Christmas Eve also means it is

time for our Random Acts of Kindness!

 

The boys wanted to do things a bit

different this year.  Instead of trying to

do 12 acts in one night, they just wanted to do

their 2 favorite acts from last year and spend

more time doing those.  Fine by me.

 

We bundled all our Christmas treats

up to take to pass out at the Veterans Home.

This one was Rylee's absolute favorite

one to do.  He loves walking into the rooms

and talking to all the people.  Which really

isn't him at all!  But this he loves!

and Cody's favorite was taking dog

treats to all the doggies at the dog pound.

 

We finished up our night out with lots

of Christmas light looking.

This is really the first time I have

sat down and actually got a chance

to enjoy our tree.  Things have been so busy.

I think I might be keeping it up even

after Christmas is over!

Christmas Break

Christmas Break is already almost

half over!  We've seen the new

Star Wars - baked lots of yummy

treats - and have done lots of

laying around!  It has been great!

 

One night we got all of Rylee's friends

together and did a Christmas light scavenger

hunt.  It was so much fun!

We split everyone in two teams.

Half went with me and half went with KC.

 

 

My team was Ah-Maz-Ing!

AND we ended up winning!

(of course)

The weather has continued to be

so nice.  The boys took Cops for

a walk to Pack a Sack to get a treat.

 

but this could spoil all the good weather.

I'm not sure how much is true.

I've heard so many different forecasts.

We shall wait and see.

Jinx has done so many mischievous things.

2 other elves were sitting in one of my wreaths.

A girl and a boy.  Long story short,

Jinx likes the girl and is trying to steal

her away every chance he can.

 

 

Scouts and our first Christmas

The boys had their last

Court of Honor for 2015.

It was also Kade and Cody's first.

 

They all 3 got a handful of merit badges

and each one moved up a rank.

 

Cody moved to Scout rank...

 

 

They get a patch and a pin

that they pin on their moms.

 

Kade also moved up to Scout rank...

 

Rylee moved up to First Class...

 

So very proud of all 3 of them!

They have all been working really hard!

 

Then it was time for fun and

a Christmas game exchange.

These boys have my

whole heart!!!

We had our first family Christmas

with KC's side of the family!

I've had sooooo much on my plate

lately that we just did pizza and salad

and called it good.  And I didn't feel

guilty about it at all!

 

It was a good time.
