Red River for New Years

We made it in late Thursday.
It was cold and there was lots
of snow everywhere.

I didn't mind one bit!

KC and Cody spent all day
Friday skiing.

Saturday we just hung around town.

Look at this view!!!
Love!!!

the boys went sledding
at the hill

We had so much snow piled
up around our camper
that Cody could build tunnels
in it.

That night we went to watch
the torch light parade down
the face of the mountain.
They had big fireworks and the
park was still all lit up for Christmas.

New Years Eve we played the
Cherne Monopoly that the boys got
from Maw-Maw for Christmas.

It's not New Years for these
boys without grape juice champagne.

We stopped in to one of
our favorite breakfast places
before we packed up to head home.

I never want to leave this place.
I am still working on trying to get
KC to move here!  I would
live the rest of my life out in this
little camper as long as I had
my boys - my pups - this beautiful view.

Until next time!

Christmas with The Nettles

It's been about a year since
we've seen The Nettles.
We were sure ready to see them
for Christmas!

Cody was most excited to
talk and trade football cards
with Uncle Jason and Landree.

KC loved on this little girl a lot!

Cody and Landree were almost
inseparable!

We painted these John Wayne
quotes for Granny.

She is in love with all things
John Wayne so we knew she
would love them.

Maw-Maw planned a little fun
parade around the living room for
all the grandkids when we
stopped by to see her.  They each
had to wear a hat and play some sort
of instrument.  My boys were totally
embarrassed!  It was so funny!

They had to do the parade before
she would give them their
prize.

games and hanging out

on the last day we headed to
the park because the weather
was SOOO nice.

Christmas Day

For the first time in all the years
of having kids...

Cody actually woke us up on
Christmas morning!!!

He was so excited!

and it just kept going
for him.

Rylee is too cool
for excitement!

But I know deep down inside
that he was.

Kade was excited too.

I think Cody loved
EVERY
SINGLE
THING
we got for him.
Like a lot!

The pups had their Christmas bones
and then all got new toys.

Heidi was in Heaven!

KC got me something special.
It's my most favorite seasoning!

Christmas morning snuggles!

and just like that another
Christmas is coming to an end.

Merry Christmas!
