Homecoming 2022

Cody's last one.

Cody and Cybil went to lots

of football games.

I love this photo because I have a photo

on the same turtle of the boys when they were little.

Another month another concert.

This time it was Sublime.

Rylee had his first ever article he wrote for

his teacher printed in the AC newspaper.

AND it was on the front page!!!

We were so proud of him.

I requested a stack of papers and we passed

them out to everyone.

He also turned 20!

(insert crying emoji here)

Cody started clinicals at Randall.

He thinks he wants to do some kind of medical

field and this should help him figure out what field.

He will assist in a different field at the hospital each week.

So far his favorite by far has been

labor and delivery.

His favorite things about it are...

- talking to the dads to be

- seeing a new baby brought into the world

and knowing he did that.

Rylee and Aiden got matching bear

onesies for hanging out and watching movies.

Not much of a garden this year.

I will be so glad when the shop is done

and I can actually start having a real garden again.

I have big plans!!

Backstreet Boys

We went to see

The Backstreet Boys!

They were sooooo good!

It was all my 17 year old dreams come true!!!

And then we just spent a couple of days

hanging out in Bricktown.

The scooters were by far a favorite!

First day of his Senior Year

How is my very last baby boy a Senior?!?

And Rylee's first year in College.

He's already gone through most of his

basics through High School.

This semester he will finally be

going to in person classes at AC.

These two hate sharing the bed.

HATE!

But neither one of them will give in to the other.

They are very stubborn.

When Ellie does this with her blankets,

we call her our Sith Lord.

She is our Sith Lord a lot!

Red River

I'm not sure how this happened,

but these are the only photos I have from

a friend filled long weekend in Red River.

I don't even know what happened to the rest.

So, here's a photo of Kristen and myself

July Photo Dump

It's hot! and Mama needed a pool!

We set up a tiny one in the shop and I love it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I'm in it most evenings.

And it's even better when you add a cocktail.

Ellie is always our biggest explorer.

Frame is going up for my

new office in the shop!

We finally decided what we wanted to do

with the inside walls of the shop.

It looks so good!

And KC got the pool table from Meme.

It was his Papaw's table and the one he

grew up playing on.

It's also already a big hit

in the shop.

KC and the crew went to

see the Dirty Heads at Red Rocks.

We popped sooooo many fireworks out

at the Lavender's and had a nice 4th of July.

We spent a day at the lake with

The Lavender's.  Their daughter and her

family came down and brought their boat.

KC tried out wake surfing.

He was really good once he caught on.

June Photo Dump

Just a little boy gazing out the window.

We're getting back going on the shop.

We had so many problems with permits

and inspections.  Our builders said they will

never do another build inside the city limits again.

They are from out of town and we

were their first Amarillo build.

Insulation and the metal siding went up!

And then the trim!

It looks so good!!!

KC's sister came through town with her kiddos

and mom.  I was sick, but he showed them around town

and made dinner for them.

Kade also came through and

everyone got to meet Silas.
