It is sooooo good to be
home!! We had a good time
on our trip, but it also made us
realize a lot of stuff too.
I would definitely do some things
differently if we ever go back.
(I don't think we will though)
While it's nice to be spoiled
every now and then, we just
didn't think all that was worth
the money. I would much
rather have spent that on a
big family vacation with the boys.
Lesson learned. I guess that
means we are grown ups now!
We didn't get in until late.
Like midnight.
We hugged and loved on
the boys but they were out like lights.
We did wake up to a nice
and unique breakfast in bed.
Ha Ha! They worked hard
on it and were very impressed
with themselves.
french toast - fresh from the garden
sliced tomatoes - pickled okra - a
shot of fresh squeezed orange juice
- and my favorite coffee
She wasn't ready to get up
and get the day started
Someone was excited to
get the heck out of camp
and get back home!
They did say he was
such a good boy all week.
The best he has ever been.
I guess this is what unpacking
looks like! Yikes!
I would much rather catch up
on my gardening. We came home
to lots of yummy stuff ready to be picked.
Everyone back at work and school!
I have my days back to myself!
Oh how I missed them!
Getting a little further on my
quilt. Baby steps I guess.
The changes in weather
have given all of us a cold and allergies.
Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup!
I was told it was the yummiest
I have made. Yay!
The dogs are such bums
on rainy lazy days!
but when it's 3:00 they
know it's time to go get
our boys!
This boy!
He loves cold rainy fall
weather just like me!
I sure love him!!!
