Christmas with Nana & Grandpa

We did Christmas a little late with
Nana & Grandpa this year. Oh Well!
We made some tacos, drank some wine,
and all had a great time.

The boys were super excited to get
their BB guns.  They even did some
target practice.  Surprisingly they were
really good at aiming.

 The Cherne Family got
Nana & Grandpa a trip.
They haven't picked where
they want to go yet, but
I have a feeling they will pick
Florida.  Dad LOVES it there.

We love our family so much!
We are very glad to have spent
another wonderful family filled
Christmas holiday with all the
people we love so very much!

Christmas!

Christmas is finally here!

We spent Christmas Eve at my
Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's house.
We played games and had a lot of fun!

Afterwards we hurried home so the boys
could get in bed for Santa.  They put out
some food for the reindeer and were so
excited to get in bed.

Cody and Rylee each got a DS
and Kade got a zune from Santa.
They all 3 LOVE them and haven't
put them down.

Bailey and Copper enjoyed their
Christmas bones.

We finally had a white Christmas!
Rylee was sooo excited!  He hopes we
are going to have one every year.
I didn't even know it was supposed
to snow, so it was a nice big surprise!

We didn't know how long the snow
was going to last, so we hurried and
went sledding at the circle.

 Copper was chasing and knocking
the boys all over the place.

We spent our very snowy
Christmas afternoon with
Granny.  She made some
yummy BBQ.  It was delicious.

Kade came the night after Christmas.
He got really sick on the plane, so
he wanted to wait until morning to do
his Christmas.  He is a crazy kid.
When he opens presents there is NO
emotion.  We did get a pretty big smile
when he opened his guitar though.

Cody bought a drum set with some
of his Christmas money.  So now him
and Kade rock it out.  Very Loudly!
It's so funny.  They will plug in Kade's
zune and "play along" with the music.

Here is Rylee the whole time they are
playing.  That or he is complaining in my ear
"Why did you let them buy those mom?!?".

We had an amazing Christmas
at the Cherne house!

Cody's Christmas Program

Cody had his Christmas program
last night.  Rylee helped some of the
boys from his pack with the
flag ceremony to start off the program.

 Is he not THE CUTEST
Christmas tree you ever have seen!?!?

He had 3 lines he had to memorize.
He nailed them of course.

Christmas Tree Countdowns

One of my favorite Christmas traditions
from when I was little were our
Christmas tree countdowns.
My sister and I both had one.  My
grandparents made them for us and
every night in December we would
eat one candy off of them.  When you
reached the star it was Christmas Eve.

Here I am with mine in 1983.

So... I made some for
the boys this year.

 The boys were so excited!
What little boys aren't
excited for candy?
