Rylee's LATE LATE LATE

Christmas present for me.

He's been dying for one of these babies!

So mostly for him, but he calls it my Christmas gift.

I love it too though.

me at Home Depot.

 

 

The butterfly has been crazy lately.

I'll just leave it at that.

 

 

For some reason this guy decided to

jump the fence and follow me 3 blocks

this morning.  Don't know what that was about.

 

 

My Granny turned 75 years young this month.

 

 

I tried a couple of new sewing projects.

They actually turned out pretty good.

 

 

I am sooo ready to start planting

my flowers this spring.  Bought these

succulents to try and tide me over.

 

I get pictures from my Snookem

all the time.  It makes him working

out of town a little easier sometimes.

My Little Boy Scout

 

Well, he did it.

Rylee bridged over to

be a Boy Scout.

 

 

 

The boys have picked out a great

troop to go to.  I think Rylee will really

like it there.  He is very excited to see

what is next for him and his fellow scouts.

Mardi Gras In The Mountians

 

 So I might have talked KC into an extra

trip to Red River.  I love it here!

It is definitely my Happy Place.



And I happen to have a little boy

that shares my enthusiasm.

 

KC and I headed down early with our little

skinny.  The other two boys really didn't

need to miss any school, so they came a

couple of days later with Grandpa.

KC and Ry couldn't wait to hit the slopes.

They spent half a day at ski school and then

felt like they could conquer The Face.

 

Rylee was actually really great at it.

He's not one for sports, but he LOVED

skiing.  I was soooo glad!

I had some chili cooking in the crockpot

all day.  It was nice to go back to the cabin

after a long day out on the slopes and just relax.

KC and Ry broke loose on day 2 of skiing

while Cody and Kade were in ski school.

Cody ended up having to go to the little

kids ski school.  Which was a joke.  He was

way older then the rest of the kids and I

am not sure he learned a thing.

 

Kade basically had a private lesson.

It was just him and one other boy.

He was a bit awkward at first,

but started getting it towards the end.

 

 

 

I love the cabin we stay in. 

It's so pretty and surrounded by

trees and mountains.

I would move here if we could.

Spring Break

 

Spring Break this year was a bit

different.  We did absolutely nothing!

And it was great!  KC has been working

sooooo much and wouldn't be able to

come home, so we went to spend time with

him in the camper. 

 

 

 

We did take a couple of days and went

and spent time with Tab and Lando.

 

 

 

Eunice, NM has NOTHING for us to do.

The boys always get creative though.

 

It was so nice to relax

and not go go go for once.

River Date

 

KC actually got a Friday off.

I know ~ It's a miracle.

AND to top it off...

The boys were in school.

Wooo Hoooo!

It was actually my idea to spend our day

at the river.  We really hadn't taken the

new RZR out, and I kinda wanted to try it out.

 

 

 

I do love it!

BUT ~ I really do like our

sketchy 4 wheeler riding more.

Don't tell KC.  He might be crushed.
