Swimming with Dad

We had a relaxing Sunday today.

Other than cleaning out the whole

garage!  Well the boys did that 

anyway.   :)  Then they decided

they needed to cool off in the pool.

What a great day!!!

Big Boy 4 Wheeling

My dad and KC decided to do 

a little big boy 4 wheeling trip this 

morning.  They have wanted to ride

down the river from the Dumas

highway bridge to the Boys Ranch 

bridge for awhile now.  Well, today

they finally did it.  This is them after

they already stopped and washed

everything down at the car wash.

And of course, me being the sweet wife

that I am, washed the rest of it for my snook!

I know they had a great time.

They definitely have some stories

that will stick around for awhile.  :)

Our 2 Week Vacation in... Hobbs, NM

The boys and I decided to go

and spend a week in Hobbs

with KC at work.  He ended up

working a ton of over time and 

we ended up not even seeing him

the whole week except first thing

in the morning.  So one week

became two weeks.  

We stayed in our camper and had

to get creative with ideas to pass the

time.  We played a TON of board

games. A TON of card games.  

A TON of video games.  And watched

a TON of movies.

We went on a lot of walks in 

the evenings.  They had the most

beautiful sunsets!

The weather was SOO HOT during 

the day.  The boys didn't even want to 

go outside to play.  They had a little

water park pool type place that we

went to several times.  The boys 

loved it!

We even went and spent the day

with Jason, Tab, and Lando.

It was nice to get away for awhile, 

but it's even nicer to be home!  :)

Bike Riding

The boys LOVE riding 

their bikes.  Their favorite

place to ride is a big church

down the street from our house.

They ride down the stairs.

They ride down a huge slope.

They think they are really something.

I think they go way too fast!

But...

I love watching them smile

when they are so proud

of their tricks.

And...

Cody was in a huge

goofy crazy funny mood!

So here he is -

A Family Sunday

We took the boys to the park

to run off some energy and get

out of the house.  The weather 

was beautiful!

While we were there we

fed the ducks.

I bought the boys new kites

the other day.  We put them

together and they tried

to fly them.

Rylee was a pro.  He got his right up.

It took Cody and Kade a little longer

to get the hang of it.

Then the boys skipped some rocks

and relaxed by the lake.

After the park we headed home for 

a nap so we could go to the drive-in.

The movie starts at dark and it's always 

a double feature. 

We saw Transformers 3and Super 8.

The boys loved Transformers!

 

The weather was perfect!  We stayed

for both movies and ended up getting 

home around 2:30 am.  It was a great

night with my boys!

Tooth 4 and 5

Cody lost two teeth today!

The boys were playing in the

room and Kade tripped and

fell and his knee landed right

on Cody's mouth.  

 

2 teeth were knocked 

out.  Cody was so brave

too!  He was so excited to see

what the tooth fairy brought

you if you had more than one

tooth.
