Weekly Update

Room changing has been crazy around here!

The butterfly is getting a new space.
It need lots of work.

Good thing this guy puts up all
of my crazy ideas

It's coming along nicely.

Gone with the Wind
while I work on orders.

I love Gone with theWind.

We started hosting some
paint your own sign workshops.
I was nervous at first, but I really
enjoy doing them and hanging out
with everyone.

The Olympics have been going on
in full force around here.  Cody loves
watching them just as much as I do.

School starting back up means
I can get back to butterfly business.

I needed lots of materials!

I cooked a ton of freezer meals one day.
These save me on those crazy busy days!

Rylee has been practicing his
bow shooting.  He has a tournament
coming up and is really nervous about it.

Breakfast in bed from my skinny.
He's the omelet master.

Cody started football!
Not sure how I feel about it yet.
He really likes it though.

Kade has been semi trying to
look for a job.  He wants the money
but doesn't want to put forth much
effort to find one.  I guess I would
be trying to enjoy my last job free summer too.

The boys had a shot gun shooting
event out at Camp Don.

Cowboy Game with Gramps

It's finally Cowboy game
weekend for Cody and Grandpa!

They planned every thing out
weeks ago.  Cody said he would be
in charge of road trip snacks.  Ha Ha!

He has been waiting all summer
for this!  So excited!

They left early Friday and stopped
for some lunch in Grapevine
at The Rainforest Café.

Dad doesn't go to The Rainforest
without ordering the super
huge nachos.

and he clears his plate every single time.

The game was that evening.

It was dads first time to see
them play in the new stadium.

On Saturday they were
headed to Six Flags.
They didn't let the rain and
cool weather slow them down.

I have a feeling they took lots
of snack breaks!

Cody had SUCH a great time!
I am so glad they got to do this
together.  He talks about it all the
time and says it was his favorite
trip he's ever been on.  They have
a lot of inside jokes and very special
memories from this weekend.

Randomness

Cody is so excited for the
Cowboys game at the end of
the summer.  He just had to have
this set of Cowboys goodies to
start school.

Rylee was voted in to join
Order of the Arrow by his
peers in Scouts.

It is a very big deal!
It's a national honor society
for scouting.

It is top secret unless you
are a member.  He's not even
allowed to talk about what they do.

This weekend he goes to a
campout at Camp Don where
he will go through his initiation.
All we knew was he needed to carve
a little arrow and take minimal
camping gear.

My tomato plants have just
been big fat duds this year.
I think I am just going to
give up on them.

Tent set up for the
Order of the Arrow camping night.

These are the boys Rylee went
through his ordeal with.
(that's what they call it)
