Camp MK Brown Week

Home from 2 weeks in Red River

and straight to Scout Camp

the very next day.

 

Oh yeah, and it's

Father's Day!

 

Cody was excited!

 

KC only gets one week paid
for volunteer time at a
summer scout camp so he didn't
get to go to this one.
He's saving it for the big camp.

 

A flower for my baby before
I left them.

 

 

 

 

 

We did the turtle sitting

while Cody was gone.

 

Copper helped too.

 

 

We enjoyed our whole week
alone with no kids!

and then we got a phone call about

Cody.  He was playing extreme Frisbee

and was pushed down twice hitting his

head both times.  I headed down

early to pick him up and get him

checked out by our doctor.

He ended up having a

concussion.  Long story short but

things were not handled in the

right way AT ALL and that is

why I hate sending them to a camp

without KC.

 

Not a great way to end camp. 

Day 14 and 15

Our very last couple of days

in our happy place

 

 

We have been lazy lazy

and just making the most

of our last days.

 

and riding!  Always riding!

 

 

and Frisbee golf.

We are in love with

Frisbee golf!

 

 

Our FAVORITE camp spot

has the most amazing owners!

They know us by name and

we just love it there because

they are so friendly.

 

They also happen to be retiring

soon and selling their little

piece of Red River and moving back

to Texas.  We are very sad about

this.  They've tried to get us to

buy their place and I so wish we

were in the right faze in life to

do it.  I would be in HEAVEN!

Red River Day 13

Did I mention we LOVE to

play disc golf??

 

We do!  and we played it again today.

 

and climbed more cliffs

 

then we went and had dinner at the local

bar and KC taught Rylee how

to play some pool.

and another bet was lost...

this time Rylee too.

Our neighbors couldn't believe

they were doing this.

They stayed and watched the whole

thing.  She even recorded it!

 

When we went back in we saw

this...

 

Yes, he's a nerd!

 

Red River Day 12

10 in the morning and everyone

is still sleeping.  I drank my coffee in

complete silence right by the river.

 

I will miss that!

 

Someone lost another bet.

Will he ever learn??

 

KC and Cody spent the day riding

bikes down the mountain.

 

They again had a really

great time.

 

 

 

with a few bumps and bruises.

We caught up on Game of Thrones

by the fire and the river.

Red River Day 11

He really wants a duck!

 

We FINALLY tried Frisbee

Golf.  Wasn't at all what we expected

and we all had a lot of fun playing.

 

I'll just say that I am

not that good.

 

At All

The boys are actually really good

at it though.

Frisbee golf time out to

climb a cliff.

 

After golf KC and Cody went and

gave the ropes course a try.

They loved it!

 

 

At the end you zip line.

They loved that too.
