Busy Busy Week

We started our dance class this
week.  We signed up with
two other couple friends
and it is so much fun!

We look forward for Thursdays
all week long!

We've learned the two step
and the country waltz so far.

Rylee snuck in the neighbors yard
and picked me some lilacs!
He knows I love them!!
They just smell so pretty!

Lots of Butterfly prep
for a big craft show we
have coming up.
I have 544 signs on my
to do list for this one.

There wasn't a bare surface
in the house with this first
batch of 238.  It's lots of work!
but I love it!

Spring is in full swing around here.
I prepped all of my beds and pots
and even planted a few seeds.

I just love this guy!

Rylee is already tackling the
STARR test again.  I got them
new shirts to help ease the anxiety.

Another Court of Honor was
this week.  Cody got his Star Rank
and lots of merit badges.

Rylee got his Life rank
and lots of merit badges.
They are so close to
their Eagle rank.
I am super proud of them.

Our big fat princess
wasn't feeling too good
the past few days.
I finally decided just to
take her to the vet to be safe.
She ended up being really
dehydrated and having some
kind of virus.  They put her
on an IV and gave her lots
of meds and wanted to
keep her overnight.

Her first night ever without us.

She was so freaking
happy when we picked
her up.  Absolutely 100
percent better than
when we took her in.
It is good to have
her back home!

Cody has been wanting to
ride bikes with KC from
our house to Grandpas house.
They finally did it
and Cody loved it.

Yellowcard

Cody's first concert!

I was looking for concerts
near by and happened to
find out that Yellowcard was going to
be in Albuquerque.  They are one of
my favorites!  It would be a rough trip
(there and back in one day)
but I really wanted to go.

 Cody was so excited!!

I slept on the way down so that
I would be well rested ish to drive back
after the show.

This place was super small and
SO crowded!

We lucked out and got a perfect
standing spot though.

The show was so good!
Cody loved it!

KC finally has a concert buddy!
I see a lot of concerts in their future!

Spring Break

Back in our Happy Place!

I came down with the boys half way
through Spring Break.  KC still needed
to do some work, so he stayed behind.
He will join us for the weekend.

The weather was gorgeous!

I love this sign!

Our camper is one of my
most favorite place!

Lots of board games - as always.

An updated Old School
Oregon Trail.  The boys love it.

I've started planning my gardens!
I am so ready to have my plants back.

Crock pot full of roast and veggies
while my boys are on the slopes.

Rylee found me a ton of beads
to add to our collection!
A ton!  Yay!

We took Cops up to run and
chase the ball.  He got tired and
found the only pile of snow
to lay in on the whole mountain.
I guess he wanted to cool off.

Cody and KC had so much fun
skiing together.  KC said Cody
was the best he's ever been.

Since it was spring break
they had the critter scavenger hunt.
Cody found a ton of critters.
He even found the golden lobster!
All of his finds got him a lot of
really cool prizes.

One of the prizes was for two
passes for the zip line.

My tulips LOVED the
morning mountain sun!

I love this!

I tried for years to get him to read the
Harry Potter books.  He is on
the 5th book already.  He won't
hardly put them down.

I love it and I am so proud of him!

We took the dogs to the Fairy Gardens
to run around.  It was just me and Ry.
Copper crossed the river to get his ball
and Heidi tried to follow him.  It was
too deep though and she got swept away.
I couldn't get to her from where I was
and either could Ry.  We were running
and trying to though.  Copper jumped in
and pushed her up onto a log with his
snout and stayed with her until I got
to her.  He really is such a good boy!
He's our hero!

Skiing!

These two had so much fun!

Cody skied the face!

I told him that if they were
going to have Cody ski The Face
I DID NOT WANT TO KNOW!
At least until after.

He did it though!
I am super proud of him!

There were some bumps and bruises
this trip, but they were full of great
stories.  As Always!

Another prize Cody won was 3
passes for tubing.

These boys never slow down!
