This year we decided to take
our family vacation during
the boys spring break.
We headed to the lovely town
of Roswell, NM and spent a couple
of days in the camper with KC.
KC had to work Monday
and Tuesday, so we got to
have lunch with him at work.
Roswell is all about the aliens!
Everywhere you look
you see an alien.
Rylee was in heaven,
because he loves aliens!
I think deep down inside he
really believes they exist.
They even have a whole museum
about nothing but alien stuff.
The aliens even landed at
McDonalds!
We took some time out from
all the alien stuff and headed
to a small lake they have.
The boys LOVE to skip
rocks with their dad.
After 2 days we were ready to
head to the mountains!
We let the boys pick where
we spent our family vacation
this year. They decided on
skiing. So we picked
Ruidoso since it was so
close to KC's work. Yay!!!
My boys are hiking freaks!
They love to hike.
The boys went in to town to
do some "Boy Stuff"
Mini Golf and Go-Carts.
Kade is always the best
grocery shopper. He helped
me do all the shopping and
his most favorite thing is to
help me put the groceries away.
When we have him that's
always his job. I love
the help! KC also taught him
how to cook burgers. He was
very proud of himself.
Our Cabin was more like a Condo.
We kinda wanted more of the mountain
cabin feel, but Oh-Well ---
We made the best of it.
We had a hot tub on our porch.
We loved that!!!
The mountains were so beautiful!
We love being there. I don't know why
it always takes us so long to go back.
On one of our hikes we came
across a herd of wild horses.
They were so beautiful!
The boys decided to go tubing
instead of skiing. I am so glad
we did. They all LOVED it!
We all had a great time.
