My Boys

We went down to the train tracks
and got a few pictures of the boys.
These were my favorite ones.
My boys are so handsome!

Badges and Beltloops

Rylee had his ceremony to get his
belt loops from the event they had
at the Discovery Center.  He also
got his bobcat badge!  He has
worked very hard to try to catch
up to the rest of his pack!

Happy Easter Good Friday

We decided to celebrate Easter
early before Kade leaves on Sunday.
The weather was so nice!  We cooked
out burgers, hot dogs, homemade fries,
and jalapeno poppers.  So Yummy!!!

We colored eggs and uncle KC
made a special one for Landree.
The boys love coloring eggs!
We still have to strip them down
because they get so crazy with the dye.

KC always makes a scavenger hunt
for the boys to find the gifts from
Nana & Grandpa.  They get so excited
when they find a new clue.  This year
the treasure was a basketball goal!

We had a great time!  We are
so blessed to have such a
wonderful family!!!

Our First Belt-Loop-O-Rama

Rylee had his first all day Scouting
event today at the Discovery Center.
There were SO many little boy scouts
running around the place.  It was crazy!

He made a device that measures evaporation
for his weather belt loop.

They made and studied paper helicopters
for his science belt loop.

Here he is with dad trying it out.

And finally they made a drawing
of a solar system and studied the
stars for his astrology belt loop.

I am so grateful that he has really great
pack leader and he loves it so much!!!

Our Dallas Getaway

We took the boys to Dallas this past
weekend.  We were just going to go
to the Supercross, but I have always
wanted to take the boys to the Medieval
times.  I am SO GLAD we did!  It was
amazing!  The boys LOVED it!

The outside of the castle was gorgeous!
It had the most beautiful brightest pink
flower bushes, and almost the whole
castle was covered in ivy.  They had
a little pond in the front complete with
lily pads.  It was amazing!

When you walked inside it was so neat.
It was just like stepping into a medieval
castle.  The boys thought it was the
coolest thing ever!

The characters were super friendly
and stayed in character the whole time.
The executioner kept picking on Cody.
That's why his crown is in his face.  :)

The food just sounded like a low key
no big deal meal, but it was so delicious!
The boys ate so much!

The show was great too!  We were
in the blue section.  So we cheered on
our blue Knight.  The boys loved watching
them battle and do all the games.  We
all had a really great time!

The next day we went shopping at
Grapevine Mills Mall.  The boys got
to see the Easter Bunny and we
of course ate some yummy food at
one of my most favorite places...
The Rainforest Cafe!

Then that evening it was time for the...

We went a little early and got to get
Cody some autographed posters of
some of the riders.  They will
go perfect in his room.

The Cowboys Stadium was HUGE!

Cody was so in his element!
He loved the whole thing.  This one
was better than the arena cross we
watch here because we actually knew
the riders.  Cody has a lot of the action
figures and posters in his room for these
guys.  It was very exciting to cheer on
your favorite rider.

And the winner is...
