Summer!!!

Summer is right around the corner!

I'll miss my free time during the day

BUT I am so ready!  I for sure need a break!!!

It could go one of two ways...

morning breakfast before the

last day of school

 

and some trivia on the way to school

I will miss this!

Hallelujah!  This has been THE HARDEST

school year we've had!!  Times 10!  

We will celebrate the fact that we simply 

all made it through it!  Next year things are going

to be different - I'm already preparing for it.

Many awards once again for this kiddo

this year - BUT winning that bacon right there

has been the goal since Christmas!!!  

Pig Out On Reading - The student with the

most A's on every test/quiz in the second semester

of reading/language arts wins the bacon.  

He didn't get not one B!  

He really wanted that bacon!!!  

So super proud of him!!!

 

 

Summer Time Freedom!

 

We celebrated with dinner and a movie!

Our Week

Cool and Rainy days!

Bathroom remodel is going strong!

We weren't going to replace the tub

or the tile in the tub area BUT

we found a water leak.  So we ripped

out part of the tile and just decided

to replace it all.  New bath tub!

 

While KC slaved away on the bathroom

while we enjoyed the rain by the fire.

 

Cody roasted some hotdogs.

He is my fire master!

Copper got into something and it

swelled up the left side of his face

really bad.  Not sure what it was but

a little Benadryl and he was slowly

getting back to normal.

We made some water balloons to

shoot the bb guns at.  Just trying to

pass some time.  Cody knocked it

out of the park every time!

I am so freaking ready for summer!

Mothers Day

My sweet Cody kicked it off right!

 

He had his card and coupons waiting

for me with my coffee he made and

a peach pie.

 

KC got me the biggest beautiful

orange and white lilies.

I love Lilies!

He also brought me back 4

bottles of my favorite Kansas City wine.

My mom and my granny brought me

plants for my garden.

 

We did another Mothers Day

breakfast this year.

 

Cody cut up all the fruit and Ry

mixed up all the pancakes.

 

Kade did all the cooking.

 

They sure were yummy!

Look how good they look!

 

 

 

I love him!

Granny always seems to find change in

our driveway when she comes over.

She gets so tickled and tells the boys

she's going to keep it.

 

They thought they would make

her a coin trial that went all the way

to her car for Mothers Day.

They love their Granny

 

It was a great Day!

Our Week

I love our weenie girls!

but this guy is my most favorite!!

 

My favorite afternoon past time!

I love the warm sunny weather.

I love all my pretty flowers.

I love the peace and quiet.

 

I just love our back patio!

 

We celebrated our 13 year anniversary!

13 years!  13 amazing years!

We will get to scrolling through our blog

sometimes and tell each other

"you know, we have a pretty great life"

And We DO!!!

 

I am so glad I found this guy!

I love everything about the

life we have made together.

 

We had a crazy romantic

anniversary night too.

 

I made bbq salads and we

finally hung my birdhouses!

 

That's it.  It is what I most wanted

to do and KC said Lets Do It.

 

I love them!

I'm easy to please.

KC finally was able to make the trip

back to Kansas City, Missouri

to pickup his RZR.

 

He left Thursday after work

spent the night there and drove

right back home Friday.

 Very quick trip!  Cody even skipped

school so he would have some company.

They had a really great time together!

I am so glad they got to spend

the alone time with each other.

 

 

 

KC also took some photos of some of the

farms I was talking about.

So beautiful!

I want to move in right now!

 

 

KC is super excited about the new cage.

I can't wait to get the new decals on

and get this thing DONE!

 

I am just so ready to ride!

We also started the bathroom demo!

The walls were covered in ceramic tile

so we called in reinforcements to help.
