Slip -n- Slide

We thought we would get the
slip n slide out since we made
it to 100 degrees today.  The
boys think they are melting in
this heat.

Ry's Boy Scout Graduation

Rylee graduated from the
wolf pack to the bear pack
in Boy Scouts last week.

Grandpa put his new badge in his
pocket and Rylee gets it when he
does on good deed without being
told.

Then they painted his face and he
walked across the bridge and got
his new bear bandana.

Way to go Rylee!

St. Lucia!!!

KC and I just got back from
our trip to St. Lucia!
The whole trip was SO
amazing.  We had the best
time.  We stayed at a Sandals
Resort and it was perfect.
The locals were so friendly
and the island is gorgeous!
Here are some of my favorite
photos from the trip.

The plane ride was not so wonderful.
We flew to Dallas - Miami -St. Lucia.
Then on the way back San Juan - Miami
-Dallas -Home.  We missed our plane
in San Juan because we didn't have
enough time to get around the airport.
It was a huge mess, but we made it.

When we arrived at St. Lucia
we could ride the taxi to the resort
or take a helicopter ride.  It was a
2 hour taxi ride through winding roads.
The copter ride was a 15 minute ride.
The ride was so worth the money.  It
was sooo beautiful!!!

They have the most beautiful trees,
plants, and flowers all over the island.

KC and I already planned on renewing
our vows while we were there.  He surprised
me though when we were on a tour.  We stopped
to look at this waterfall and he got down on
one knee and proposed to me.  I had no idea.
He had my old ring redone and everything.
It was very sweet!

KC and AJ went zip-lining  while
Chelsey and I got a massage
by the beach.  I think we got
the better end of the deal.

We renewed our vows under a
little gazebo right on the beach.
It was so perfect.

They brought us breakfast in bed
the next morning.  We ate it on our
balcony.  It was very yummy!

The locals were so friendly.
This is the guy we bought all of
our souvenirs from.  His name is
Rasta man Charlie.  He had great
stories about the island and local
history.  We could have spent the
whole vacation around him.  :)

We had the most amazing time!
The island, people, resort, everything
was so perfect!

Rylee's Raingutter Regatta

Rylee had his Raingutter Regatta
with Boy Scouts.  He painted
his own boat and they raced
them in raingutters.

Rylee did so good!  He got
2nd place out of the whole
pack.  Which is about 75
boys.  Yay Rylee!
