Snow Snow Snow

Amarillo received it's second biggest snow
storm yesterday.  We got a whopping 17 inches
of snow with 50 to 60 mile per hour winds.
Winds that high made HUGE drifts!
It pretty much shut the whole town down
for a couple of days.

The boys LOVED it!  Drifts as high as
the roofs. What's not to love!?!

All the pups LOVED it too!
The weenie girls are so light that they could
just run right up on top of the drifts.

Copper just plowed right through them.
He LOVES snow!  The more the better.
He was in heaven.

Playing in the snow takes a lot
out of ya.  Laying around with a movie and
snow ice cream was a must.

This was one of the roads here in town.
Crazy!

2013 Monster Energy Supercross

Dallas on Valentine's Day weekend is
kinda becoming a Cherne Family tradition.
And once again I got out voted on our
first stop to eat.  Hooters it was.
Guess that's becoming a tradition too.

There is always time for some
early morning bed wrestling!

And some messing around at
Bass Pro Shops.

But we were all waiting for this day...
2013 Monster Energy Supercross

Lots of pretty girls for the
boys to take their picture with.

And lots of handsome dirt bike riders
for us to try to get autographs from.

See the one above?  He is one of our favorites!
Ryan Dungy - and the boys thought it was SO
cool that we were just walking by his trailer
and there he was just standing there talking to
his mechanic about his bike.

KC couldn't resist a group pic with
a bunch of Monster Girls.

James Stewart - I was NOT a Stewart fan.
AT ALL.  Until we met him here.
He was so nice!  He actually looked
the boys in the eyes and had a
conversation with them.
I was very impressed by him.

My Baby Is Such A Big Nerd!
And he loves him some
Cotton Candy!

KC's deal for anyone that can guess
all the top 3 finishers will get a hundred bucks
went unclaimed again this year.
The boys were bummed.

We spent our last full day at
Grapevine Mills Mall.  The boys
have been begging to go to the Lego Exhibit.
So this time around we tried it out.

It was pretty neat.  You see this area?
This is where all the kids build lego cars
to race down the ramps.  You see all the kids
around it?  Oh wait...
Nope that's all the dads getting
all of THEIR race cars ready.
Ha Ha!

After a crazy day at the mall
we headed to one of my favorite places.
I miss the El Chicos we used to have in Amarillo.

Then we went back to the hotel
to do some swimming.

This busy weekend made for
one tired little boy on the trip back home.
But it was so fun and completely worth it.
