Thanksgiving Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving!
We had an amazing dinner
at my Granny's house!
She cooks the most wonderful
food.  It was so yummy!
We have so much that we are
thankful for this year.  Our
family has been very blessed!

The rest of the weekend was
a lazy Cherne Family weekend.
We were supposed to go to
Dallas, but the forecast said rain,
wind, and cold.  Not good when
you have 3 boys wanting to go to
Six Flags.  :(   So instead we stayed
home and I FINISHED my
Christmas shopping!  Yay!!!

We asked the boys what they
wanted to do and they all said
movie and game days with
hot chocolate and some
yummy snacks.  Sounds good!

Souts

Rylee has been really busy in
Cub Scouts the last few weeks.

We finally got all his popcorn in.
He passed the goal he set for
himself too.  He did such a great job!
Almost $800.00 worth!

Last week they had the Space Derby.
They each made a rocket and raced them
during the pack meeting.  Rylee got 2nd place
in one race and 3rd in the other.

He also has managed to earn
a bunch of belt loops.

I am so proud of my little
Cub Scout!

Nana & Grandpa's Tree

We gave Nana and Grandpa some
help putting up their tree this weekend.
KC put Molly on top for the angel.

Cody's 7th Birthday!

Happy 7th Birthday to Cody!

We spent Friday night Jumpin -N- Jivin!
They boys had a lot of fun!

Saturday we cooked some BBQ,
watched a lot of football,
and had a dinner with the family.

What birthday would be complete
without birthday spankings...

...and whiskers from Papa?

Cody picked these cupcakes out all
on his own.  I was really surprised.
They had a ton of cakes for kid
birthday themes and he still just
wanted the Cowboy cupcakes.

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!
We all love you very much!!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my 31st Birthday!
Mom and Dad took us out to dinner
and then we went back to their house
for cake and ice cream.

I had a great day!

Getting Ready For Christmas

So we are a little early this year.
So what.  Why not?  We love
Christmas in the Cherne house.
Why shouldn't we decorate a little
early?  We also happened to have
Kade at the last minute this weekend
so it just seemed like the perfect time.

The boys love getting up in the attic
and digging out all the boxes and tubs.

The part they love the least is spreading
out all the branches after we get the tree
up.  It takes forever and it's not that
fun.  So... I had to add a little
motivation.  I told them whoever
does the best job could pick a
candy.  Worked like a charm.
Now our tree is perfect and beautiful.

Rylee couldn't wait to get in the tree box
after I added all the newspaper from
unwrapping all the ornaments.  He
thought it looked like a coffin.

Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween!
We celebrated with a
black skull ninja & a mummy
this year.  Kade also was a ninja.

 Rylee's mummy bandages didn't last
as long as I was hoping they would.
By the time we made a couple stops
he decided to change into a back up
ninja costume.

We went to a little carnival and took
a hay ride.  The boys got balloon
animals and hot apple cider.

The sky was beautiful!

This is the boys favorite part!
Counting and sorting all the candy.
