My boys are growing too 

dang fast!

Cody is starting 2nd grade 

this year.

Rylee is starting his last year

in elementary school.

My baby is a 4th grader!

After school Rylee was asking me

why I didn't buy him a pencil bag.

It was on his list and he needed one.

I told him "I did!".

Come to find out -

He thought his pencil bag

was a water bottle holder.

LOL

Silly kid!

Nothing better then a Sonic Blast

after the first day of school!

Our New Pups

We have been a one dog family for

awhile now.  We really didn't want any

more dogs....  Until I saw a friend that 

was trying to get rid of a litter

of Weenie Dogs!  KC has wanted

one since we have been together.

So when I saw these, they were

perfect.  We picked out our perfect

little Penny and couldn't wait to

get her.  A week or so later

she posted on her facebook that she 

had one pup left and it needed a 

home.  Well of course she was 

so cute!  So I sweet talked

KC into getting her too!

So that is how we got our 

litte Lilly! 

The boys were so HAPPY when 

the pups were old enough to come home.

We drove to get them, and it was

love at first sight!

They were so cute!

And so playful!

Copper wasn't really sure about

them at first.

You could tell he kinda wanted to 

try to play though.  :)

Our last trip to Roswell

 We made one more quick trip

to stay with KC in the camper

before our summer comes to an end.

The boys love all the alien stuff

in Roswell!

They even talked their daddy into

taking them to the alien museum.

They came back telling me all kinds

of alien facts that they just could

not believe.  Ha Ha.

Spending days and days in a 

camper with 2 little boys

makes you get creative 

with stuff to keep them busy.

They played with these marshmallows

for hours!  Building everything

they could think of.

Swimming with Harley

 Grandpa Harley & Grandma Jeanette

stopped in for a quick visit!

The boys had so much fun

swimming with Harley at 

their hotel.

It was a nice visit!

Trip To Lake Mackenzie

We decided to take one more family 

trip before our Kado went home.

We headed to Lake Mackenzie for some

camping-fishing-four wheeling!

They had some really pretty trails.

It made for some great riding.

We took our Cops and he LOVED

chasing the ball along the bank.

My favorite part - The Camp Fire!

I love relaxing by the fire.

The boys roasted marshmallows 

and made s'mores.

Those are the boys favorite part!

We did a lot of fishing!

I was really surprised at

how all 3 boys loved sitting

there and doing nothing. 

No, that is not Rylee's bait!

He was the first one to 

catch a fish.

Kado tried so hard.

He wanted a fish really bad, but he

 was the only one that didn't

catch anything.  :(

 We were practically the only people

in our whole camp area.

The boys went crazy riding 

their bikes.

The last day I told the boys we

were going to have a contest...

---Who could make the best bow---

It had to be a working bow with an arrow.  

Grandpa and KC helped them out.

The boys got so serious.

At the end -

we had some pretty

great looking bows!

The boys lined up and 

took turns seeing whose

arrow would go the

furthest.

Rylo was the winner!

 It was a great trip!
