Red River and Skiing

Turning the curve and seeing the

small little town all lit up

is my favorite part!

 

We drove in a day early so

KC could drop me off in

Red River and then they

could go to Angel Fire for the

Boy Scout ski trip.

 

Still lots of snow!

We tried to play some Frisbee

Golf in the park.  The snow was

a little too deep.

 

I think we made it through 6 holes

and called it a game.

 

and then the boys wrestled in

the snow and had a snowball fight.

I love it so much!

We took the little dogs and Cops

stayed with mom and dad.

Mom sent me this pic of him.

When the boys left I did

whatever I wanted!

Meal planned and binged

on Game of Thrones.

 

and took the dogs on

lots of walks in the snow

 

It snowed almost all weekend

I loved it!

The dogs loved it too!

 

 

 

 

Especially Marley!

He scamped so hard.

 

When the boys ski weekend was

over we stayed an extra day in

Red River.  That meant missing

the Cowboys playoff game.

We face timed with dad and he

held his phone to the tv and

gave us a play by play.

Hey!  It worked!

Our Week

Not much beats a perfectly

clean kitchen!

 

KC has been dealing with some

changes at his work.  Stupid people!

I found this and it fit perfectly!

New signs for the Butterfly!

I love the rustic worn frames.

This whole batch has frames!

Tab wanted a family sign.

I thought I would make one for

our camper too.

I can't sit down anywhere

without at least one dog

in my lap.  Most of the time

all three.  I still love my

Valentine's Day tree.

I will be sad to see it go.

Our Week

Cody got all decked out

in Cowboy gear after Christmas.

 

 

All of my Christmas decorations

came down.  I missed my tree

so I bought a smaller one on

clearance and decorated it for

Valentine's Day!

I love it!

 

Lost tooth!

 

Snow!

 

We got maybe 3-4 inches.

 

 

Of course I picked this time

to cut and sand all the wood

for the things on my butterfly

to do list.

 

I've got lots of new stuff

coming out soon.

I am so excited!

 

The snow and cold ended up

freezing the washing machine

drain pipe.  I didn't even know

until I realized a whole load

of water drained out into

Kade's room.  Ugh!

We had to move everything

out to dry the floor so

I thought we would paint

his walls.

Him and Cody actually did

the base coat all on their own

while KC and I worked on signs.

I love the green.  It looks really

good in there.  He wanted one

wall with graffiti of his name.

KC worked on that part.

 

It's coming together.

We just have to paint

his shelves and dresser

and then get everything situated.

 

The boys made a snowman

from the left over snow.

 

They named him Tony Snowmo.

 

 

 

and then decided to

shoot bow and arrows at

him and chop him with swards.
