Ben De La Tour Camp

Getting 4 boys ready for

a 10 day scout camp is

ROUGH!

but we did it!

 

 

They made a pit stop on the

way to camp to do some

white water rafting.

Rylee was terrified but they
all had a blast.
 

 

They also happened to stumble

upon a actual real active

Buddhist temple.  They were told

that people trek from all over

the world to visit this temple.

Monster Rock is a 30 minute

hike and a 15 hundred foot

elevation change.

 

They would call me from the top

and all they could talk about was

how beautiful it was.

 

Rylee even said way better than

Red River!

Rylee and KC took the

rock climbing merit badge

with Collin.  They said it was

way scary and absolutely

real cliff rock climbing.

 

 

 

 

Getting ready to head back home!
The journey to and from was
long, but by far their favorite scout camp!
 

ALWAYS a handmade card and

a Jones Soda and treat from

mom when you get back from a

week long Scout camp!

and the mess starts all over again!

Randomness

laziness and popsicles in the pool

We filled up our little pool to

see if Miss Heidi would like the water.

 

She didn't.

We had fun playing anyway.

 

Romeo didn't either.

 

 

We also decided to deep clean

rooms this week.

We found this crusty piece of

ham under Cody's pillow!

 

He said he was sneaking it one day

and I came in the back door and

scared him.  So he thought the

best thing to do was hide it under

his pillow.  AND he forgot about it!

4th of July

It's the 4th of July!

 

I love the 4th!

 

The night before the 4th

we grabbed our fireworks

and headed to the river to

shoot them off.

 

 

 

The boys tried to catch fish

with their hands.

 

 

It was a BEAUTIFUL night!

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the 4th we hung out at

home with the family.

 

The boys LOVED the giant

Jinga we made.
