Rylee and Aiden with their giant bear.

My lover with a work day

Disney World Part 2

Animal Kingdom Day!

AK is my favorite park.
Yup!  Even more than Magic Kingdom.

It's just sooooo pretty there.

We made it a point to find all 50 of the
50th anniversary statues and get a picture with them all.

And we did!
Some were really hard to find.

This guy was amazing!
He was walking all over the place with his blanket.
He would set it down to eat and then pick it up
and put it on his back
to walk somewhere else to eat.
Every single time.

The tree of life!
And I still get amazed at how big it is and how intricate
all of the carvings are that are on it.

We went to an Indian restaurant for lunch at AK Lodge
and it was AMAZING!!!  The bread service with
all the dipping sauces was so good.

It took time out of our park time, but
it was so worth it.

We also got a lot of snacks throughout
our park days.  This brisket mac and cheese
was on my must try list.
So good.

Pandora is another favorite spot of mine.
It's really cool to see the floating cliffs
and all the landscaping is gorgeous.

Park 3 was Epcot.
This was my 2nd time at Epcot and KC's first.
I didn't like it the first time, but thought we would
give it another try as adults.

I didn't like it this time either.

They were having the food and art festival
while we were there.

More statues at Epcot.

KC love the BFG.

The park being divided into different
countries was pretty neat.

We won't be going back to Epcot in our
next visits.  I would much rather do two days
at any of the other parks instead of wasting the day here.

Park 4 was Magic Kingdom.
IDK why I put MK on our last day.

And more statues!

This little tiny Tinkerbell statue
was probably the hardest to find.

I love the castle so much!

And that's a wrap on another Disney Adventure
with my snookem.

Disney World Part 1

A Disney trip with just
me and my Snookem???
Yes, please.

I went to Disney World when I was in
high school with my parents.  They were celebrating
the 25th park anniversary while we were there.

Well, 2022 is the 50th anniversary for the park.
I told KC is only makes since for him to take me this year
because I was at the 25th and I need to be at the 50th.
And he said yes.

Of course we drove because the road
trip part is one of our favorite parts!
Especially going to Florida.
There's so much to see along the way.

We left thinking we were leaving the snow
and cold weather behind for warm sunny
Florida weather.

New Orleans was still pretty chilly.

I love New Orleans.
There is so much old history there.

We also made a stop at Destin, FL
for the night.

It was freezing there and we finally decided
we needed to head to Target to get
some warmer clothes.

Teeny tiny shell!

Finally at our hotel.
It was our fist time staying at a
Disney Hotel.  I chose Art of Animation
and I am so glad I did!

The hotel was amazing!
I loved all the themes and the art
work that you saw everywhere.

We will definitely stay here
for our future trips.

Now to the parks...

Day 1 was Hollywood Studios.

Part of the 50th celebration was having character
statues placed throughout all 4 parks.

We decided to make a game out of finding all the
statues and getting our photo with them.
Some of them weren't so easy to find.
But we did it!  We found all 50!

I was in Star Wars heaven!

Toy Story Mania
probably is our favorite ride of all the parks.
