Happy Memorial Day

We have spent almost the

whole-long-wonderful-family-fun

weekend outside!  We are loving

our summer, and it just started!

We have done a ton of swimming.

We have done a ton of cooking out.

We have done a ton of just hanging out.

We even spent our weekend with

some pretty great friends and family.

 

I saw the first pepper on my pepper

plants today!  I can not wait to try them.

Our baby birds are already getting

pretty big.  They get so loud and happy

when the mama comes to feed them.

The boys and I love to sit and watch

them.  I am afraid they will be

ready to leave the nest soon.  :(

We had a WONDERFUL

Memorial Day!

We marked off #26 on the list...

Summer Time!!!

We have been sooo ready for summer!

The boys have been counting down

the days till the last day of school.

We decided to put our pool up

a week before school was out

so it would have time to warm up.

They couldn't wait and swim

in it on the first freezing day.

Crazy boys!

Cody finally had his field day

at school.  He did really good in

everything he competed in.

Cody got a

Most Likely to Succeed 

award from his teacher at

the awards ceremony.

He is so smart.

His teacher always tells me

how advanced he is.

And the best part is that

he loves everything about

school.  (unlike Ry)

Rylee had his best school year

ever this year.  A's and B's all

across his report card!  Yay!

He got the most improved

at reading award.  

He also does flag patrol.  He takes

down the flag every Friday after

school.  They gave him this certificate

for that.

And here they are on the last

day of school.  Super excited!

These were the teachers end of

the year gifts that we made.  

They both LOVED them!

Now it's time for us to enjoy 

our summer!  Yay! Yay! Yay!

We decided to to a summer bucket list

this year, so we can be sure to get

all the fun things we want to do

done.  I got the idea here.

We sat and thought of all kinds

of ideas.  These are the ones that

made the list.  We can't wait to start!

My Little Skinny

He is growing up so fast!

He is already turning into

a little young man.

I love him very much

and am so very proud of him!

I spent the day with my wonderful

boys.  We cooked out and they

gave me all the goodies they made 

at school.  Those are always the 

best gifts!   :)

They LOVE their Granny!

2012 Raingutter Regatta

Rylee had another great year

at the Raingutter Regatta.

He didn't do as good as he

did last year, but he still did great. 

He did come in first a couple times.

We learned a couple tricks to 

use next year for his boat.

Xcel Demo at Gene Howe

KC set up to have the 

Xcel Arching Trailer

 do a demo at the boys 

school today. It 

shows the kids what

all could happen if

they touch or come

in contact with power lines. 

They put an apple, potato, a shirt,

and hot dog weenie on the pole.

Then they show what will

happen when the electricity

goes through it.

It was pretty neat and the

kids thought it was so

awesome.  The boys

loved having their 

daddy at school today too.

:)
