We are finally {almost} done
with Cody and Kade's room!
I just have a few little things to
finish up. This is by far the biggest
project we have taken on.
I knew exactly what I wanted the
room to look like. The best part
about the whole room is we did
it all for really cheap! LOVE that!

So you know that show American Pickers?
That is pretty much how we found
almost everything to go in the room.
Good thing Papa Danny and Papa Bill
have a lot "treasures" laying around.
I love the way the dirt bike
turned out. KC traced it off
and I painted it all in. LOTS
of small detail. It took some time
to finish, but it was worth it.
It goes great in the room.
And the ugly huge TV.
Both of the boys have decided
to save up some money and buy
them their own flat screens for
their bedrooms. Ha Ha. They
already have some money saved
up, so it won't take them very long.
And this would be Cody's most
favorite thing about his room!
All of his energy drinks.
If only we would let him drink
all of them. Believe me he
asks often. Um No!
This is Cody's side.
He was staying the night with
a friend and came home to find
his bed hanging in the air.
He was very excited!
And of course another favorite spot...
The music area!
They can both jam out together.
KC even hooked up an old
stop light. It will shine right
on them when they play.
He loves it.
We found this old dirt bike
gas tank laying in Papa Danny's
yard. I knew I wanted to use
it, I just didn't know how.
KC suggested as a light.
It fit and worked out perfect!
Kade's Side!
He hasn't seen the room yet.
He will come home at the end of
May for the summer and I think
he will be so excited!
It might have took up 2 whole
{ and I mean WHOLE }
weekends of our lives,
but we love the way it turned out!
We also did Rylee's bed.
However, he doesn't have
much stuff in his room
and now it looks kinda
bare. So we are working
on that. Then we will have
some pictures of his. :)
