Summer Time!

First Week of SuMmEr!

 

The boys are sooo glad to be out

of school.  They tell me almost

every day.

 

 

We picked our first strawberries.

Ry was the taste tester.

 

Verdict was -

One was really sour

and

one was really sweet.

 

 

I have had mushrooms like crazy!

Everywhere!  In the yard

and even in my planters.

 

I asked our lawn guy and he said

when you plant anything with

wood chips the fungus will

grow on them and cause mushrooms.

Who Knew?  I sure didn't.

 

 

I also was sent this sweet picture

of Landree enjoying his

and Brynlee's birthday presents.

 

It looks like fun to me.

 

 

KC had one more week of

working out of town!

Thank Goodness!

We decided to go stay with him.

 

 

I had to stay and get some

Butterfly work done, so

Ry and I went down 2 days late.

 

 

Cody went ahead and went

with KC.  He was so excited

to stay in the camper by himself

while KC was at work.

(Chelsey was just next door)

 

He would send me sweet texts

all day long.  He really is the sweetest!

 

He also claimed to eat

Zebra Cakes for breakfast

and Beef Jerky and Red Bull

for dinner.  With a little

Cherry Pie for lunch.

KC swears it's not true.

I don't know who I believe...

 

 

 

While staying in the camper

we took some time to

go see my sister and

the babies.

Eunice, NM

was hot to say the least.

We locked ourselves in the

bedroom with the air on

full blast to try to stay cool.

 

 

We did finally get a cooler

rain stormy night on our

last night there.

 

 

This thing parked in front of

our house was a good sight to see.

 

It means KC will be

home every night for a while!

No one is more excited about

that than I am!
