Cowboys and some Snow

It is day 3 of KC being off of work

for the New Year holiday.

 

Here's what we have done so far...

 

a few little projects around the house.

board games.

watched some movies.

stayed up late.

slept in.

played more board games.

drank lots of coffee cider and hot coco.

played video games.

played in the snow.

 

And that is really about it.

We haven't even got

dressed or left the house in

the last 3 days!

We shower and put jammas

right back on.

It has been fantastic!

Especially after all of the

holiday craziness last week.

 

 

We still haven't had Christmas

with my sister or KC's family

because of the flu going around

the crazy weather.  So our tree will

stay up and Christmas will linger

here a little longer.

Which I don't mind at all!

I love sitting in the living room

with the glow of the lights from

the tree.

 

I sipped my coffee out of KC's new

mug this morning hoping it would

bring James the best of luck

for his bowl game tonight.

 

 

Beans and Ham cooking away

in the crockpot for dinner!

and then it was time to

watch some football!

 

 

Who made the first touchdown

in the first 10 minutes of

the game?

 

This guy!

 

We couldn't believe it!

Our living room went CRAZY.

 

 

It didn't stop there either!

he sacked the quarterback.

made tackle after tackle.

he even had a 48 yard reception.

 

Look at the paint flying off

his helmet when he

crushed on by with that ball!

 

 

He even got Capital Ones

player of the game!

 

 

 

We are soooo proud of him.

He couldn't have asked for

a better way to end his

college football career!

 

 

 

More snow fell last night

and now as I am writing this

it has started back up again.

 

 

 

We had lots of fun

playing.

 

 

 

 

 

We love this weather!

I hope it snows all day.

Tons and Tons.

 

It just needs to all melt

off tomorrow night and leave no

trace so I don't have to drive in

it when the boys head back

to school!
