Super Bowl Sunday

I'll be honest...

We don't watch pro football.

We don't have a pro football team even.

I guess we would consider ourselves

Cowboy fans because we are Texans.

BUT there were no Cowboys going

to the Super Bowl.  Close ~ but no.

 

We've watched every year since

the boys were little.  We try to

make it fun with games and treats.

 

This year we had NO desire to

watch.  We weren't rooting for the

Patriots for obvious reasons

and I saw a REALLY horrible arrogant 

interview from a Seattle player

last year that still has me

against the Seahawks!

 

 

But we placed our bets and played

our games anyway.  This Super Bowl

Commercial Bingo the boys LOVED!

 

 

 

We also decided to do a

French Fry Bar this year.

We made our own fries and the

boys planned the toppings.

They were so yummy!

 

So many choices that no ones

were the same.

 

 

KC grilled some chicken that he

seasoned with some of the Jerk

Sauces we brought back from

Jamica and some other things

he threw in there.  He's good at that!

 

The boys also made

Chocolate Covered Strawberries.

These were devoured in no time!

This kid was even less into

the game than we were.

 

It takes us at least 15 tries to

take a picture together.

15 tries for KC to get serious

and let us get a decent one

is probably more like it.

 

And Cody was the big winner!

He won the most quarter score guesses

and the Bingo game.  Kade won the

half time show bets we had, but he

had to leave early and I didn't get a pic.
