Six Flags day 1

I'm Our little spring break vacation ended

up turning into a pretty big road trip.

 

KC decided to have some work done on

the rzr and he figured the best place to get

it all done was Kansas City, MISSOURI!

 

So we got Kade off  to his mom and

we packed up and headed out a little early.

We were on a time crunch because

I didn't want any of the added road trip

cutting into the vacation we already had

planned.  Amarillo - Kansas City - Dallas

 

 

We stopped in OKC for dinner

and decided on this little German

restaurant because it was on Food Networks

Diner Drive Ins and Dives

 

 

We love that show and we thought it

would be neat.  The food was soooo good!

 

 

I am so sad that I didn't take ANY

pictures in Kansas or Missouri.

We drove straight through and stayed

the night in Kansas City.  We dropped

off the rzr the next morning and then

were heading to Dallas.  I had never

been to that part of the country and it

was so beautiful.  Which is why I am

so mad I didn't get any pictures.  There

were so many trees and it was so green.

LOTS of farm houses on huge acres of

land with big red barns and silos.

We feel in love! and even picked up

a flyer from a house that was for sell

to see what a dream farm house might

cost us.  I would move there in a heartbeat!

 

We made a little detour on our way to

Dallas to visit the worlds biggest McD's.

KC remembered going there with his

granddad when he was little and wanted

the boys to see it.  We got there and It

was just a big truck stop with a McD's

smaller than my closet!!  I am guessing

they did some remodeling since KC last

 saw it.  He talked it up to the boys too the

whole way there.  When they saw it they

were like - Really Dad??  So we ate

lunch at the tiny McDonalds and moved on.

We mostly went to Dallas to go to

Six Flags because it has been so long since

we have been.  The boys were ready!

 

except for when I made them pose with

all the characters.  Rylee was not

having that.  I had to promise him a funnel cake.

 

 

 

Cody rode the Batman for the first time.

and love it!

We waited for them and took
selfies with the Batmobile.

and that was day one!
