Today was my day!
KC planned out all the other
days. He gave me today.
So of course we headed to
my favorite place in
Red River...
The Fairy Gardens!
Penny walked the log
this time. Copper just chose
to jump into the river
and cross instead.
The boys were happy to
see this! They built this little
fort when we came in November
and it was still here.
We decided to walk down
the river. It was so cold
at first.
When you have little short
legs you find other ways
to get around the river.
Cops doesn't care.
He will just dive right in.
Poor Marley,
he tries to cross and gets
swept up by the current.
So his crossing the river
takes him a little longer.
Kade thought he would
try to float the river.
And he did. With all the rain
that river was moving
pretty fast.
This little momma stays
in a spot right by our
camper. She has 7 little
ducklings with her.
We got an evening thunderstorm
tonight. The weather was perfect!
Chilly and rainy.
It was perfect weather to
stroll through town.
And you can't go in town
without stopping at the
Candy Crate.
Rylee's favorite thing
there are the roasted
candied nuts. They serve them
fresh and warm.
He loves them.
The weather was perfect
after the storm passed,
so we went for an evening ride.
Kade drove his first trail
tonight. He did pretty good.
He likes to go fast and furious!
Through most of the ride
you heard KC saying
~ Kade you can't do that ~
Ha Ha! He needs
a little more practice.
