This Week and That Week

Our first week back home
has been a lazy one.

I've been stitching away
on my grandmother's quilt.
She finished a lot of it, but
is having a hard time seeing
the pattern now.  She asked
me to finish it and then she
will make it into a quilt for me.

It's A LOT of work ~
But I love doing it.

Transformers 4 at the
Drive In.  We were
excited to see it.

This little boy asked to go
out and water the garden
with me.  I think he's a
little jealous of mine and Ry's
gardening time together.

Coffee while the boys have
an early morning swim.

My plants are doing
really good.  I always forget
to allow room for them
to grow.  Some of them were
a bit crowded and I had to
thin them out.

We have some garden
visitors.  This little guy
likes tomatoes.  Ugh!!!

We've had lots of harvest
this week.  LOTS!

Tomatoes lined on my
windowsill is a L.O.V.E

And then we had this...
And lots of little boy attitudes!

And then I saw this!
It explains everything!

A slit in the pool from
~ throwing knives ~
~ boomerangs ~
~ bows and arrows~
Who knows any more!
They are for sure learning today
that we have rules for those
things for a reason!

The rain this week has
made everything worse.
We can't try to patch the hole
until the area is clean and dry.
It won't dry out because it
keeps raining.  And I'm not
wasting tons of water
to fill it back up with all
this nasty rain water in it.
So they bail it out with buckets!

They don't like it,
but they haven't complained.
They know they messed up.

And then...
Here's me!
HeHeHe!

I might have mentioned earlier to
the boys how pretty the sunflowers
were growing over our old grouchy
neighbors fence across the ally.
He picks on the boys ALL the time
and tries to get them in trouble every
chance he can. So I said we should
just go chop off one or two after
dark tonight. Totally kidding. Kinda.
Well I'm catching up on my blog
and Kade and Rylee come in with the
biggest smiles! And a sunflower!!
I couldn't help but laugh.
I love my boys!!!

They might make me want
to pull my hair out sometimes,
but they are sweet and quick
to apologize.
